Kodon allows users to freely shape objects in 1:1 room scale. Players can create physical objects in VR, using the physical properties of the room in which your HTC Vive is located. This allows the user to use real-world desks and tools for stability and precision in the 3D sculpting process.
Sculpting in virtual reality
In essence Kodon allows users to freely shape objects using a 1:1 room scale, perfect for 3D modelling fans. You can spend your time casually interacting with various materials or slowly create magnificent sculptures. Accurate VR sculpting is done thanks to the HTC VIVE’s Motion controllers.
Its not yet a fully developed polished product however we’re sure the developers will iron out any bugs on release. Look out for its full release sometime in July 2016 however the early access version has been getting some very positive feedback on STEAM …
