Special delivery – VR game review

special delivery vrDescription
If you fondly remember ‘Paper Boy’, the classic arcade game on the original NES, then you’ll love this virtual version of it. Special Delivery developed by Meerkat Gaming has you dodging all sorts of obstacles such as dogs, cars and tornadoes whilst trying to get on with the job at hand … delivering the papers. The idea is for you to accumulate as many points as possible by successfully delivering papers as well as achieving bonus points by causing chaos via smashing windows, knocking down trashcans etc. If you watch the game trailer below you’ll see that Special Delivery is fast and frantic virtual fun and will keep you entertained through 4 different styled neighborhoods and 28 days of delivery.

As the game is powered by the Unreal Engine 4 you’ll notice that the graphics are ace and that the cartoony effects work well with the action. The soundtrack to the game is also fitting, keeping to the fast paced action.Overall Special Delivery is a solid VR action game for the Oculus Rift and HTC Vive.
