Vanishing Point isn’t an alien smacking, zombie killing game but a more genteel ride that relies on the power of music to immerse a user. The app was a crowd-sourced projected started by talented cellist Ben Sollee and developers WoodPenny games. I suppose we would liken the app to Fantasia (the old Disney classic) where animation and classical music work in unison to create a spectacular experience.
Hop on board the Orbomotive, a futuristic train if you will, and travel around five different landscapes taking in the visions and absorbing the various coordinated sounds. Although the graphics are fairly simple with the low-poly landscapes the music and overall vibe make up for it.
If you’re a fan of music and want to find out what its like to experience it in VR then this is the app for you. NB you’ll need a VR headset such as Google Cardboard to play this app.
